A mellow, melodic form of synth-pop that sounds more commercial today than it did upon its release, A-Ha's fun and solid debut became unmistakably iconic and launched them into stardom. The production was crisp, the songs catchy and Morten Harket's vocals absolutely transcendent. One of the most 80s of 1980s records in the best way possible.
