An excellent debut album, influenced by latin jazz or bossa-nova, filled up with wonderful pop songs that subvert traditional conventions. A little more rock & roll than later efforts, each song is tightly constructed with interlocking chords and gracefully interwoven melodies and harmonies. Clever, cryptic lyrics, killer groove and great production. A classic of the 1970s.
