Generally considered the magnum opus in the Talking Heads oeuvre and four decades later still exudes a tremendous fascination and freshness. The album relies heavily on samples, loops, rhythm, polly-rhythms, syncopated rhythms, synth guitar solos and David Byrne's screechy vocals. Never before had Talking Heads ever been heard like this, and many would agree it was a welcome transition. Brian Eno served as the albums producer and was able to convey an atmosphere never heard before on a record and never heard since.
