Inspired by the legendary Ohio funk band of the same name, The Black Keys' new album expands their sound palette. This is the twelfth studio album for the band whose members, while recording, were also DJing dance parties in cities around the world spinning 45s from their own eclectic and growing collections. The spirit of those parties infused the album’s DNA. Featuring collaborations between the band and various friends and colleagues including Dan The Automator, Beck, Noel Gallagher, Greg Kurstin and others this new release is an approachable, fun record that is also cool.
