This unexpected and understated Blur reunion album has an unhurried, melancholy and a sophisticated feel. Blur's years of age and experience across many diverse projects lend themselves to a nearly perfect album. Mature and nuanced music, refelective mood but an exception to the tired formula of the heritage rock revival. A truly creative album just when it was least expected.
