Released in 1978, Kaya was an album that presented a more accessible version of Bob Marley. Lyrically, the songs avoid previous political commentary or Rastafarian philosophizing and instead emphasize tunes about love and ganga. Marley and the band are at the peak of their abilities and this is a really fun and enjoyable listen all the way through.
